Those Lucky, Lucky Japanese

There’s stupid, there’s ignorant and then there’s a Harvard graduate prattling on about economics. Here’s Lawrence Summers, Harvard president emeritus and former director of the White House National Economic Council, proving once again that America’s “economists” are less than useless. Apparently, after throwing down some chicken bones, sacrificing an old age pensioner, and consulting his mathematical models, Mr. Summers declares that the devastating earthquake will"lead to some temporary increments, ironically, to GDP, as a process of rebuilding takes place."

If my son ever gets accepted to Harvard, I don’t know if I’ll be proud or appalled.
