JSTOR and Chicago

A trivia, but perhaps not trivial, question. Why doesn'' JSTOR put its bibliographic material in some form of Chicago Manual style?

I have enough trouble teaching form without a major source for students botching my efforts up.

Can anyone enlighten me on this?
