The discussion of Tim Burke's analogy of our situation in re Iraq with that in late Weimar Germany continues over at John Moser's post at No Left Turn, with Burke, Tom Bruscino, Moser, and me among the contributors. But, speaking of Bruscino, Cliopatria extends a hearty welcome to Rebunk, HNN's newest blog. It is, in some sense, a child of Cliopatria. After Time Travel Is Easy, it is our second. Rebunk's leader, Derek Catsam, is a veteran at HNN, well known for his thoughtful articles and tough engagements on the comment boards. For now, he is joined by Bruscino and Stephen Tootle, his more conservative comrads from Ohio University. There'll be no sleeping over at Rebunk. The fellows over there take their historical debate pretty seriously and do not mince words.
