To the Editor:

Re: "Kerry Might Pay Price for Failing to Strike Back Quickly" (News Section, Aug. 21): Given the fact that John Kerry initially chose to remain silent while George Bush's supporters lied about his service in Vietnam, and given too his recent remark that even now he still favored granting the president the freedom to invade Iraq, I have to wonder if a Karl Rove mole is now running Kerry's inept and disappointing campaign.
