Because communication has been difficult in the New Orleans area, HNN has set up this blog to help history students and faculty who may be trying to get in touch with one another. Click here for emergency news about Tulane provided by school officials.

I spoke with another Tulane employee about a week ago and she said that Pam Smith is in Laffyette (spelling)...and doing fine. Some of her New Orleans family are in Houston and doing well. Hopefully Hurrican Rita will behave herself.
I am in contact with Professor Boyden at least once a week (when ever we can get a good connection.)
I miss you all very much and can't wait to return to Tulane and the best department on campus.
C. U. all real soon.

P.S.Having trouble retrieving email...
