Protest the UNLV Outrage

It is time to bombard UNLV President Carol C. Harter with emails and phone calls demanding that she immediately end the attack on Hans-Hermann Hoppe's academic freedom.
For good measure, I suggest we demand that she issue a formal apology to Professor Hoppe. In addition, be sure to point out that if this nonsense continues UNLV will undermine any chance to be a respected institution of higher learning.
UPDATE: Jim Lindgren and Ralph Luker have added detailed comments on the Hoppe case. In the last week, academic freedom seems to be under general assault in the western United States. Please note that these attacks is coming primarily from PC administrators and ambitious politicians. Both groups will only be empowered if academic freedom is undermined.
