For a variety of reasons, none of which we will get into at this time or place, Rebunk is closing its doors. We have enjoyed working with each other and with HNN. We have especially liked engaging all of our readers, and can only hope that you feel the same.

Lest there be any confusion, all of us remain good friends, and would like it very much if you would visit us at our other sites online:

Derek Catsam at DCAT.

Stephen Tootle and Tom Bruscino at Big Tent.

Richard Holmes at Slice of Life.

(We'll be sure to let you know if and when Marc Bacharach gets his own blog.)

All our best,

Rebunk

Cheers!

Sorry to see Rebunk close its door. Good luck gentlemen, where ever you may blog, and thanks for the commentary. It's been fun reading.

Re: !

Thank you both for your kind words. As I explained to my fellow Rebunk bloggers, this year is going to be very busy for me, and I do not have the time to invest in a blog.

Don't worry though. I am far too opinionated to stay away for long :)

I'll be around. See you then!

!

You're closing your damn doors??? How can you do this? No fair! I was looking forward to more rhetorical cage matches with Derek and Marc, and you guys decide to fold up. That's a crime.

Well, I probably didn't look like or act like it, but I was a big Rebunk fan. I read you guys every day without fail. OK, every day except for when Derek went on and on about sports.

OK, I've got a reputation to maintain, so I'm not going to get all sappy here, but....Hugs!!!!

That was a joke. Laugh, dammit.

Yeah, Marc better get his own HNN blog if he knows what's good for him. Good luck to the rest of you.

Re: !

OKAY, I'll admit it. I checked in, A LOT! What a great mix of personalities and perspectives, each one at a point in your careers where you can relate to a view on the day's events in a meaningful way to current generations. This really was taking off with Mark's addition; good thing he got 2 months' worth of posts in the last two weeks before moving out of this end of the blogosphere for academic reasons.

Seriously, there should be a cyberspace picnic. Wonder who'll get control of the archives?

Re: !

I'll miss your collective edge and range of perspectives (and, like Irfan, the occasional tussles). Thanks for the links to your other locations.
