Letter signed by Adolf Hitler asks for time off from his job to fight for the presidency of the reich in 1932.
Hitler wrote the letter, complete with spelling mistakes, on 1 March 1932 just days after becoming a German citizen.
He was able to stand against the incumbent Paul von Hindenburg and though he lost that election he became chancellor the year after.
The letter states: "I hereby request leave of absence to the end of the time for the selection of the next President of the Reich, Yours Faithfully, Adolf Hitler."...
