I haven't seen it, but from the description, THX[numbers] was awful, an intellectual ripoff which could be considered thought provoking only by people who hadn't encountered those thoughts before (i.e. anyone who had never heard of Orwell or Huxley, among others) and the style of which was certainly 'artistic' in the most negative sense of the word.
