Following the Steps of John Lennon and Yoko Ono at Market Biron: An Exhibition of 100 Photographs

On the occasion of the 4th Mondial de l’Antiquité (Worldwide of Antique), the Market Biron, located in the Flea markets of Saint-Ouen, introduces an exhibition of 100 photographs of the mythical couple John Lennon and Yoko Ono taken by Henry Pessar during their passage in Paris in 1969.

The exceptional fund of the 100 photographs of Henry Pessar constitutes an evidence of one of the turns of John Lennon’s life. Indeed One of the photographs taken by Henry Pessar was published exclusively to illustrate the marriage of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, pronounced in privacy and incognito in Gibraltar on March 20 1969 !

The talent of Henry Pessar, photographer of stars for Paris Match, makes of this exhibition one of the artistic events of the fall ! During the opening weekend, from 9 till 11 October, the music of the Beatles and John Lennon will be broadcast in the entire Market to bathe the public in the world of the most famous group of the world.

The opening of the exhibition will take place on Friday, October 9th, opening night of the 4th Mondial de l’Antiquité (Worldwide of Antique). The exhibition will continue until Monday, October 25th, 2009 and will be opened to the public every Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. The entrance of the exhibition is free...
