Professor to be Recognized for Commitment to Native American History

The Nebraska State Historical Society will honor John Wunder, author and emeritus professor of history and journalism at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, with the Addison E. Sheldon Memorial Award October 14.

Wunder will be getting this award for his “work in the preservation and interpretation of state history. He has taught Nebraska, Great Plains and Native American history for 23 years,” stated a press release....
