Historian Azizollah Bayat dies at 91

TEHRAN -- Iranian history scholar died of natural causes. He was 91.

Born in 1920 in Nahavand city, he got his diploma in Hamedan. In 1969, he got his doctorate in history from France’s Paul Sabatier University.

He was the history professor at the University of Shahid Beheshti since 1972....
