Montreal's history to be projected onto city walls throughout Old Montreal and the Old Port
Visits inside churches where today only ruins remain, a look at the fur trade (as seen from the perspective of the beavers), and the life of loggers, nuns, merchants, early settlers and aboriginals will all be illuminated, projected or available via the Internet accompanied by audio presentations explaining what life was like going back anywhere from 50 to 375 years ago.
Several short movies with characters in historical dress have been created as well.
Three projects have been put together by non-profit historical society Montréal en Histoires to feature the history of the city as Montreal prepares to celebrate its 375th birthday in 2017.
