Boston's Role in the Antisemitic Right of the 1930s and 1940s
Historians in the Newstags: far right, fascism, antisemitism
Last week, we talked about the rise of anti-Semitism statewide. This week, we're focusing on some of its spread in Boston in the 1930s and '40s, through a man named Francis Moran and the organization called the Christian Front. Charles Gallagher, a professor of history at Boston College, and author of the book "Nazis of Copley Square" joined us to talk about that history.
This segment aired on November 17, 2022.
