Early Color Motion Pictures
This footage, held by the George Eastman House International Museum of Photography and Film, is from 1922 tests of Kodachrome color motion picture film.Testing had begun as early as 1914 and the first full length color feature film, "Becky Sharp," was not released until 1935. These 1922 tests were done at the Paragon Studios in Fort Lee, New Jersey. The women who appear in them are actresses Mae Murray, Hope Hampton, and Mary Eaton. The other woman and the child who appears with her are not identified. Hat tip.
