Thomas Jefferson, Cataloged
Posthumous library cataloging: Thomas Jefferson's library, circa 1815, is now in LibraryThing, complete with his reviews and "tags." Putting to one side the comic value (the former President and I share fifty-one books!), this does give us a convenient, annotated and completely searchable version of the catalog; the LibraryThing blog suggests other potential uses. The group responsible has several other libraries in process, including that of dramatist William Congreve.
