Breaking News
A book about the deadly 1927 flood along the Mississippi River has become a strong online seller since Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast, The Associated Press reported. "Rising Tide: The Great Mississippi Flood of 1927 and How it Changed America" had risen to No. 11 on Amazon.com's best-seller list by yesterday afternoon. The book, by a New Orleans resident, John M. The book's publisher, Simon & Schuster, began to see increased demand last week, and said it would print an additional 10,000 paperback copies.
