Historians/HistoryLinda Kerber has served as president of both the American Historical Association and the Organization of American Historians. At the 2014 annual meeting of the OAH she spoke with HNN about the importance of the 14 th amendment. She wants every history teacher in America to make their students memorize the opening lines of the amendment.
